The TPS6302x series is particularly suited for portable electronics such as devices powered by two or three alkaline, NiCd, or NiMH batteries, as well as single-cell lithium-ion or polymer batteries. When using a single-cell lithium battery, it can discharge the cell down to 2.5V or even lower while maintaining high efficiency. The internal PWM controller supports synchronous rectification, which helps reduce power loss significantly.
