Increased costs caused the market to shrink

“The sharp drop in profits is one of the reasons for companies to abandon the production of small-size TVs.” One executive in color TV production said that small-size color TVs are almost the same as large-size color TVs in the cutting and manufacturing processes. While the small size of the price is lower, compared to the small size of the color TV is high cost and low profits. Affected by the continuing high price of raw materials, various color TV manufacturers are gradually reducing the supply of small-size color TVs, such as 32-inch or even 42-inch TVs, which will lead to small-size color TVs will not rush to cut prices due to lack of goods.

Experts in the industry predict that the output of small-sized color TVs under 3,000 yuan will become smaller and smaller, and the possibility of lower prices will be lower. “The strategic positioning of color TV companies depends mainly on the market and depends on the needs of consumers.” Home appliance industry observer Hong Shibin told the Beijing Daily reporter that as the consumer’s living standards increase, the prices of large-size color TVs continue to decline, and will erode. 55 inches will become the focus of competition
