In the early morning of September 6, the nuclear power plant reactor refueling robot successfully completed the loading of 157 nuclear fuel assemblies of Unit 1 of the Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant in Guangxi. This is the successful application of the nuclear power robot independently developed by China General Nuclear Power Group in nuclear power engineering after the reactor pressure vessel integral bolt stretching machine completed the pressure vessel switch cover of the Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Unit 2 in August. The two robots successfully applied by the company are independently developed by China National Nuclear Power Technology Research Institute, a member of China General Nuclear Power Group. It is a nuclear fuel handling and reactor pressure vessel top cover designed for complex nuclear power plants with high operational precision and long-span motion mechanism. In August, the overall bolt stretching machine was first applied in the unit project under construction of Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant No. 2. Compared with the switch cover during the overhaul of the transport unit, the implementation environment for the first time the nuclear power unit is under construction is more severe. During the cold test of the No. 2 unit, the integral bolt tensioner smoothly completed the screwing of the 58 main bolts and simultaneously stretched the 58 main bolts to 1.53± of the initial hydraulic test. 0.03 mm, the error range is controlled within 0.03 mm. In addition, this successful application saves two days compared to the use of a single stretcher for closing the lid for 4 days. As two sub-projects of the 863 Program “Nuclear Reactor-Specific Robot Technology and Application†during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†period, China General Nuclear Power Group invested nearly 100 technicians in technical research and manufacturing companies within the four-year development cycle. To achieve localization of manufacturing, the results of the project have completely independent intellectual property rights. The successful development and application of the two robots have fully verified that China has reached the international advanced level in the field of high-resistance seismic component reliability technology, and greatly reduced the procurement cost of new nuclear power plant refueling robots and bolt tensioners. Among them, a number of patented technical achievements have broken the technical blackmail of foreign nuclear power equipment suppliers, and provided independent technical support for China's independent three-generation nuclear power "Hualong No. 1" to achieve the "going out" strategy. It is reported that the successful application of the nuclear power robot is only the test of China Nuclear Power Group in the field of nuclear power robots.
