International Rectifier (IR) recently launched a new line of 75V devices, expanding the StrongIRFET MOSFET family to meet the needs of various industrial applications. These include power tools, light electric vehicle inverters (LEV), DC motor drives, and lithium-ion battery pack protection. The devices are also ideal for hot swap and switching power supply (SMPS) secondary side synchronous rectification applications.

The newly introduced 75V StrongIRFET power MOSFET family delivers ultra-low on-resistance (RDS(on)) for improved performance in low-frequency applications. It offers exceptional current-carrying capability, soft body diodes, and a typical 3V threshold voltage that enhances noise immunity. Each device is fully avalanche tested with the industry's highest avalanche current rating, making it the most durable solution for challenging industrial environments. These components are available in a perforated package design, offering better thermal management and reliability.
