Main structure and working principle of rubber sand mixer The rubber sand mixer is a mechanical device designed for mixing materials efficiently, particularly in construction or industrial applications. Its main components include a two-speed motor, a sanding box, a transmission box, a main shaft, an eccentric seat, mixing blades, a stirring pot, a base, a central column, supports, and a program controller. This setup ensures smooth and precise operation during the mixing process. The working principle involves the two-speed motor transmitting power through a connecting sleeve to the worm gear inside the transmission box. The power is then passed on to the main shaft via a worm wheel and a pair of gears, which helps reduce the speed. As the main shaft rotates, it drives the eccentric seat, causing the mixing blade attached to it to revolve. At the same time, the planetary gears at the top of the blade shaft allow the blade to rotate around a fixed ring gear. This dual motion ensures thorough mixing of the materials. The stirring pot is mounted on the support and can be rotated and locked using the eccentric groove. Once the sand is added, the machine can either perform automatic sanding at a set time or allow manual control. A handle is used to lift and position the stirring pot within the mixing area, ensuring accurate alignment during operation. Lifting and installation are straightforward. Since the machine doesn’t come with a lifting device, it can be manually transported. For installation, simply place the unit on a flat cement surface and lay a 5–8 mm thick rubber plate underneath to reduce vibrations and protect the floor. To operate the machine, first connect the power socket. When the red indicator light turns on, it means the system is powered up. Then plug the program controller into its corresponding socket. The digital display should read zero. Fill the sand tank with 1350 grams of standard sand, the stirring pot with 225 grams of water, and 450 grams of cement. Place the stirring pot in the positioning hole of the support and turn it clockwise until it locks. Adjust the handle to bring the pot into the correct working position. The electrical operation has both manual and automatic modes. In automatic mode, set the toggle switch to "Auto" and press the start button on the program controller. The machine will automatically follow a pre-set sequence: low speed for 30 seconds, then another 30 seconds of low speed with sanding, followed by high speed for 30 seconds, then a 90-second pause, high speed for 60 seconds, and finally stop. The entire cycle lasts about 240 seconds ± 1 second. After completion, move the handle down, turn the pot counterclockwise to release it, and remove it carefully. In manual mode, set the toggle switch to "Manual." The machine will run continuously, allowing you to control the low and high speed rotation times as needed. You can also adjust the sanding duration, making it earlier, later, longer, or shorter. The 2K button controls the low and high speed, while the 3K button manages the sanding and stopping functions. Regular adjustment and maintenance are essential for optimal performance. Before leaving the factory, the gap between the mixing blade and the pot is set to 3±1 mm. If adjustments are needed, loosen the adjusting nut and rotate the blade to achieve the desired clearance, then tighten the nut securely. Maintenance includes keeping the workspace clean. After each use, thoroughly clean the mixing bowl and pot, removing any residual mortar. Wipe down the machine to eliminate dirt and splashes. Dry the unit and cover it to prevent dust accumulation. The transmission box contains moving parts such as worm gears, gears, and bearings, which should be lubricated with grease every three months. Additionally, check the guide rails between the support and column annually, applying oil for lubrication. Clean the unit and reapply grease regularly. If unusual metal noises occur during operation, check the gap between the blade and the pot to ensure it’s within normal limits. Handle the stirring pot with care to avoid deformation. Also, periodically check the electrical insulation. Under conditions of 20°C ± 5°C and relative humidity between 50% and 70%, the cold insulation resistance should be at least 7 MΩ.
