In the "New Value" column of the state diagram, you can input the desired signal value to perform a forced update of the status. For safety during operation, it is recommended to force the signal when the PLC is in the STOP mode. To do this, select the "Write-ForceOutputsInSTOP" option under the main menu "Debug".

Once you have entered the new forced value, you can force the specified signal by clicking the "Status Force" button in the toolbar. To cancel the forced operation of a specific signal, click the "Status Unforce" button. Additionally, the "All Unforce" button will deactivate all signals at once.

The Force and Unforce toolbar buttons are only available for byte, word, and double-word length signals that use V, M, AI, and AQ memory types.

By selecting different options under the main menu command "Debug", you can implement various debugging features:

"SingleRead": This function retrieves a "transient map," meaning it updates all states once without continuously fetching status updates from the PLC.

"Write All": After making changes to the "new value" field, use "Write All" to send all modified values to the PLC in one go. This allows you to simulate a set of control conditions or execute a group of control actions.

"Force": Use the "Force" button in the toolbar to set a signal to a specific value.

"Read All Force": Forces all signals to their set values.

"Unforced All": The "All Unforce" button in the toolbar cancels all forced operations on the signals.

These tools are essential for testing and debugging programs efficiently, allowing operators to manipulate signal states and verify system behavior under controlled conditions. It's important to use these functions carefully to avoid unintended effects on the system.
