New Year's Hand Again - Nintendo Nintendo Switch Monster Hunter xx Limited Edition

Reasons to Purchase

New Year's came and I saw the Switch on sale. Originally, I was planning to go for the standard version, but then I saw the limited edition and felt a strange hunting vibe that looked really cool. Although it's not a "Stray Dog" model, I decided to go with the limited edition because of its appearance. The price of the console is usually around 3,344 yen. So I went to Kakaku (a Japanese shopping site) to check the price, but the registration process was too complicated. I ended up choosing Qoo10 instead (I wasn't very familiar with these sites). After placing my order, the recipient address was set to the transfer company's address, so I also sent an email requesting my passport photo and contact details. Then I confirmed the shipment.

After the New Year, I found out my hand was a bit tight. I originally thought some people take pictures directly on the box, but considering the date on the box might cause disputes, I gave up the idea of taking photos. Nothing was found in the Japan, Asia, and Asian circles. I'll drop two search links here.

I had hoped to receive it before the end of the year, but the EMS delivery was very slow and dragged me into the new year. When I finally received it, it came in a dirty paper box with lots of labels on it. There were stamps from Japan Post to the transfer company, the transfer address, customs, and product inspection. Since there was personal information on the box, I won't be putting it on the map. When I opened the box, I found that the inside looked old and there was no new packaging to catch the eye. On the back of the box, there wasn’t much useful information. The purchase date on the right turned out to be August 15th, but I only paid at the end of January. It seems like Qoo10 is also acting as a middleman. I don’t know if it’s a brand-new unit or not. The first level naturally includes the host and two handles. The second layer contains a Stray Game XX body, HDMI cable, dual-hold change handle, Type-C adapter, two small handles, and a base with Strange Hunting elements. On the back of the base, there are two USB ports on the right side (not sure what they’re for). After opening the back, there is a USB port, an HDMI, and a Type-C power interface. The main body of the machine has a cement-like gray color, nothing special. On the back, there are standard Switch elements. The main body and handle are made in China. On the left side, there is a small bracket that can be inserted after inserting a micro SD card for expansion. The top has a power switch, volume control, cooling holes, headphone jack, and game card slot. At the bottom, there is a serial number barcode and a Type-C interface. After booting, it prompts to connect the handle to the host, and there is a good sound effect when connected (as shown in the promo). After the big logo appears, there's a tedious language selection — choose region (only US, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan), accept the user agreement, select Wi-Fi, time zone, connect to TV (optional later), remove the lower handle (there's a small black button behind the handle to remove), test if it works properly after removal, prompt there are two ways to play, create a user (name, avatar), system update needed, whether to link account, multiple users, parental controls, and start using. This is roughly the process. I took some pictures, but I think no one would want to watch them all. After the system updates, you can start playing.

Experience Feelings

I started with Zelda. I borrowed the game from a colleague and bought DLC on the eShop. Master mode is really challenging. I prepared for some time to start some double-player games, originally intended to buy the original controller. Life isn't long, and traveling long distances can be a bit painful. In general, it takes about four to five hours to play. The conversion box is also quite nice to see in the living room. The only problem is that it sticks out from the host and looks slightly unattractive. When the handle is removed and played with both hands, the game feels particularly good — gravity sensing is on the right handle, and the operation is easier.

Summary

In my opinion, this is a necessary device for home travel. Make sure to have multiple users, and link accounts from different regions on the official website (since the same game has different prices in different regions). If you think the game won't last long, it's more cost-effective to buy it on eShop. If possible, after finishing the game, a physical copy is better (you can sell the game for money again = =). There are several games especially suitable for two players. If you want to improve your relationship, give it a try.

Industrial DTU

What is Industrial DTU? Industrial DTU characteristics and application field analysis

What is DTU?
A Data Transfer unit (DTU) is a wireless terminal device that converts serial port data into IP data or IP data into serial port data over a wireless communication network.

Second, industrial DTU characteristics?
D220 is an industrial 4G DTU based on 4G wireless network, the product uses high-performance industrial embedded processor, real-time operating system as the software support platform, to ensure that the data link is smooth at any time, to provide users with high-speed, stable and reliable data transmission. It can be easily and quickly arranged in the industrial site, and can be used in harsh environments.

Hardware features:
Anti-interference design, suitable for harsh electromagnetic environment application requirements
Wide voltage power supply design, support DC5V-35V power input, built-in power reverse protection and overvoltage and overcurrent protection
The serial port can be a service serial port or a data serial port
Supports the many-to-many link configuration between the service serial port and the center
Select industrial-grade devices and optimize electromagnetic compatibility design to meet the requirements of harsh application environments
The D220 supports backward compatible 2G/3G network access based on 4G network.
Built-in hardware watchdog, regular detection mechanism, automatic resetting of abnormal equipment.
Complete industrial environment design requirements, all-metal structure, the whole machine has passed the strict electromagnetic compatibility test, CE certification

Software features:
Multi-center mode/Multi-backup mode (up to five multi-centers/backup centers)
Different serial ports can be used as maintenance or service serial ports, and different service serial ports can be connected to different multi-centers.
Multi-protocol upper development kit support (compatible with communication protocols of multiple DTU manufacturers, which can achieve seamless replacement of DTU)
Supports ICMP and LCP link detection technologies and keeps heartbeat alive, ensuring the stability and reliability of the network and communication
Supports local serial port upgrade and remote software upgrade
Supports TCP, UDP, DUTCP, DCUDP and other connection protocols
Supports multiple encryption modes to ensure secure data transmission

3. Application fields
