The UB530 can store video input from various signal sources, including set-top boxes, media players, HD camcorders, and game instruments. The Cypress FX3 solution provides a USB 3.0 component bridge to support Full HD data transmission and streaming up to 5 Gbps. EZ-USB FX3 is the only USB 3.0 peripheral controller with programmable capability in the industry. It is equipped with a fully programmable general programmable interface (GPIF II), which can be set to 8, 16, and 32 bit configurations, and supports data transfer rates up to 400 Megabytes per second. GPIF II enables FX3 to connect directly with any processor, ASIC or FPGA.
