Cree introduces the industry's first LED module to replace ceramic metal halide lamps

On May 8, 2012, Cree (Nasdaq: CREE) announced the expansion of its recently launched LMH2 module family with luminous fluxes of up to 2,000 lumens and 3,000 lumens, as well as new dome lenses and dimming for lighting manufacturers. Universal drive. Compared to standard lenses, the new lens delivers a 5% improvement in system efficacy and an excellent hemispherical shape. Cree LMH2 module is an ideal alternative light source for 50W and 70W ceramic metal halide lamps. It can be widely used in lighting fields such as downlights, wall lamps, chandeliers, recessed lamps, spotlights, movable track lights and ceiling fan lamps.

The new breakthrough LMH2 module features a 120-227V universal drive with a 1/2-10 volt dimming capability for high versatility and high modularity, providing maximum range in terms of luminous flux, color temperature, drive and beam shape. The choice allows lighting manufacturers to quickly customize applications and accelerate time-to-market.

Anthony Toniolo, Chairman of DDP & Emerge Lighting, said: "The new LMH2 module combines high efficacy, high color quality and control to make our Data Display products more flexible in design and manufacturing. The listing process."

The optimized LMH2 module features a new dome lens that achieves a hemispherical shape with a system efficacy of 80 lm/W and a color rendering index (CRI) of over 90. Featuring the Cree TrueWhite® technology, the new LMH2 module offers 2,000 lumens and 3,000 lumens with over 95 lm/W and offers a wide range of color temperatures from 2,700 K, 3,000 K, 3,500 K and 4,000 K. With a design life of 50,000 hours and a 5% dimming range, the LMH2 module offers Cree's industry-leading warranty. The LMH2 module has passed UL certification in the US and complies with various international regulations and safety standards. Cree is able to provide ENERGY STAR® certified luminaire manufacturers with product specifications and performance data, including LM-80 reports, to help speed up certification body approval.

According to Mike Watson, Senior Marketing Director of Cree LED Components, “Lighting manufacturers no longer need to use low-quality and low-performance ceramic metal halide lamps. The Cree LMH2 module series can help designers quickly and easily implement traditional lighting. The transformation of LED lighting, while providing end users with lighting products with high light color quality, high luminous efficiency and high performance."

Cree is on the 9th-12th June 2012 Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition booth at booth B02 in Hall 4.1. Come and visit us. The LMH2 module is now available in a sample kit and is available in volume production with standard lead times.
